I have the honour to report for

the information of His Excellency the Governor that at the Criminal Sessions for this month two Chinese

were unanimously found guilty of feloniously attacking a boat in this harbour, and stealing therefrom opium valued at about $211. The Chief Justice sentenced the prisoners to 5 years penal servitude
